File Note: It is submitted that the project proponent has submitted a proposal to establish an industry for the manufacturing of Vessels @ 60 kg/day by using iron sheet @ 90 kg/day as raw material. The project proponent has proposed to install 4 no. heavy presses of Capacity 10 Ton, 1 no. of 20 Ton, 1 no. of 50 Ton, 3 no. of 5 Tonn , 2 no Hydrulic presses, welding set, power cutter, welding set, grinder, hand grinder, Roll, Grinder surface, Iron cutter and Burma in its premises. The industry has deposited Rs 1500/- as NOC fee vide R. No 74/4530 dated 10/10/2016, which is adequate for one year for project cost of Rs. 17.00 Lac under Orange category.. To verify the contents of the application, the site was visited by undersigned on 15.10.2016 in the presence of Sh. Nishar Ahmad (Manager) and it was observed as under:- 1. The site of the industry falls under the revenue area of Vill. Gounspura, Tehsil Malerkotla and is situated at the link road from Ludhiana Road. 2. The site of the proposed project falls in the industry area as classified by the DTP, Sangrur vide letter no. 1283 dated 08/07/2016, thus suitable for establishment of such type of units. 3. The representative informed that the earlier the unit was running in the name of M/s Islamic Trader, Mohalla Ismailpura, Chota Kharahu, Bhumsi, Near Masjid Wali Masjid, Malerkotla, District Sangrur and he has a proposal to shift the same in this place as the previous was the residential area. 4. The industry has started construction work at site and installation of machinery was under progress. 5. The industry has not installed any submersible pump / energized source to abstract the ground water. As, such the site suitable for the establishment of such type of unit as per policy of the Board. If approved, the case may be sent to Zonal office-II, Patiala with recommendation that the NOC from the pollution angle may be granted to the industry with suitable conditions and along with specific conditions that the industry will not install submersible pump / energized source to abstract the ground water without the prior permission of the CGWA and industry will take proper noise control measures to rule out the possibility of noise pollution.
