The details of the case are given in the note of AEE, which may kindly be perused. Earlier, the industry was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 valid upto 30/09/2016 under red category to manufacture Ply & Ply Board @ 624.31 Sq.m/daya nd Glue @ 48.0 MT/year with suitable conditions and special conditions that:-
1) The industry shall submit the license from the department of Forest within 2 months.
2) The industry will not discharge the effluent generated from the washing of Glue kettle outside the water storage tank made below the kettle.
Now, the Regional Office has reported that the industry has submitted the copy of license issued by the Deptt. of Forest and also the industry is complying with the condition no. 2 as above. The industry has also submitted analysis report of stack emission samples tested from stack attached to Thermic Fluid Heater (Capacity 20 Lacs Kcal/hr & steam generating capacity 6 TPH) by Industrial Testing Laboratory & Consulting House on 22.09.2016, the conc. of particulate matter is 102 mg/Nm3 against 800 mg/Nm3 which is within the permissible limits prescribed by the Board.
Accordingly it has recommended for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 30/6/2021.
If approved, renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30/6/2021 with suitable conditions and specific condition the industry shall get the stack emission monitoring from the Board's lab within three month and submit the analysis result. The industry shall ensure that no air pollution problem or public nuisance created in the area due to discharge of emissions/ noise pollution from the industry. (Competency :CEE)
