RO reported that the Hospital cum Educational Institute is small scale Red Category Unit and the Competency with of case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer and has now applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 granted upto 31.3.16.. The consent fee deposited by the institute is adequate upto 31.03.2021 under both Acts. . The hospital was visited by AEE of the RO on 08.11.2016 and observed that :- 1) The hospital was in operation. The hospital has installed sewerage treatment plant in its premises and same was in operation. 2) In the STP the effluent from labs / hostel/ hospital was being treated and further was being discharged onto land for plantation. 3) The hospital is maintaining the records of operation of STP. 4) The hospital has installed 01 No. DG Set of capacity 400 KVA which is with canopy. RO recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the Hospital upto 31.03.2021 with same conditions. Keeping in view of the report/verification made by RO if approved consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the Hospital upto 31.03.2021 with same conditions.comp.SEEpl. |
