It is submitted that the marriage palace is a small scale orange category unit and is entered in the inventory at serial no. Industry/S/O/118. Earlier, the Marriage Palace was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 vide No. O16LDH3CTOW4248659 dated 07/07/2016 expired on 31/12/2016 & O16LDH3CTOA4248400 dated 07/07/2016 expired on 31/12/2016. Now, the Marriage Palace has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The application of the Marriage palace has been scrutinized and was found complete. The industry has submitted following documents i.e. CA Certificate as on 31.03.2016(with undertaking regarding no change in fixed assets), CLU certificate, compliance of the previous consent conditions and requisite consent fee under both the acts, lease deed, partnership deed and location plan alongwith application form. The industry has already submitted Rs. 30,000/- V.R. No. 90/4065 dated 06.06.2016 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Rs. 30,000/- V.R. No. 91/4065 dt 06.06.2016 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 06.03.2022. The marriage palace has submitted following information in the application form:- The marriage palace has provided a STP for the treatment of domestic effluent generated from the kitchen and toilets of the marriage palace. The various components of the STP collection tank, oil & grease trap equalization tank, bioreactor, tube settler, filters. The industry has provided a lawn and garden in an area of about 4 kanals for the disposal of treated domestic effluent. The Marriage Palace is having 3 no. of DG sets of capacity 125 KVA, 82 KVA and 15 KVA. All the DG sets are with canopy and adequate stack height. The marriage palace has been granted CLU certificate from Senior Town Planner, Ludhiana & also the marriage palace falls under Industrial Zone as per the Master Plan, Jagraon. During visit, the marriage palace was not in operation & also the STP was not in operation. However the effluent which was earlier treated through the STP was collected in the pre-filtration tank & the samples were collected after treating the water from the filters i.e. from the final outlet of the STP. In view of above, it is, therefore, recommended that Consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for upto 30.09.2021. |
