File No. RO-II/LDH/CON/IND/1943: The industry has applied for the fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 online system alongwith documents. Accordingly, the site of the industry was visited by Er. Kuldeep Singh, AEE on 17.01.2017 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation during the visit and engaged in M.S. sheet cutting.
2. The industry has made an MOU with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana of quantity 2000 Ltr/month. The industry has provided new water meter on its fresh water supply line in process area and reading of the same was 3300 Ltr. The industry has started maintaining the record of quantity of water consumed in the process viz-a-viz untreated trade effluent got lifted to M/s JBR technology. It is pertinent to mentions here that trade effluent got lifted by M/s JBR technology from processing tank of the industry.
3. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.
4. The industry has not installed D.G Set/boiler/furnace in its premises.
5. The industry has submitted approved building plans from the approved person of the Directors of Factories, Punjab.
6. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. The site of the industry falls in Indl Area-C as per khasra no’s mentioned in the gazette notification, so the site is suitable for such type of project.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2021 with usual conditions.
