The industry is a service station for cars and is in operation since July 2016. The industry has installed submersible pump, however, the industry has neither submitted any proof regarding installation of the submersible pump nor obtained any permission from CGWA. The industry has submitted DTP certificate vide no. 3138 dated 4.11.2015 mentioning that the site of the industry falls in Mix Land Use along road front zone as per Master Plan, Khanna (2010-2031) and that the site was granted CLU by the Senior Town Planner, Ludhiana vide Memo No. 2785-2791 STP(L)T.W 12-A dated 10.9.2015 to comply with the conditions as mentioned in the CLU. However, the industry has not submitted copy of CLU. Effluent samples was collected by RO on 14.12.2016 and results beyond limit and also found stagnation in plantation area. Considering the report submitted by RO, May if approved, show cause notice for refusal of consents under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be issued to the industry with opportunity of personal hearing. |
