It is submitted that earlier, the consent to operate were granted to the hotel under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide No. O15ASRCTOW2327829 dated 30/1/2015, which was valid up to 30/6/2016 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide No. O15ASRCTOA2327769 dated 30/1/2015 which was valid up to 30/9/2016.
Now, the hotel has applied for obtaining extension in the validity of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The hotel has deposited Rs. 18,000/- vide UTR/Ref.No. BKIDN16272955462 dtd 28/9/2016 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 18,500/- vide UTR/Ref.No. BKIDN16272955885 dtd 28/9/2016 under Air Act, 1981 (including Rs. 500/- as an application form fee) which is adequate up to 30/09/2017.
The hotel was visited by officer of this office on 30/1/2017 and observed as under:-
1. The hotel is comprising of 25 nos. rooms, restaurant and banquet hall but physically hotel was not in operation and no occupation exists there as observed at the time of visit.
2. The hotel has installed an STP whose outlet after treatment is into the public sewer.
3. The STP was not in operation as no inflow of domestic effluent collected into the collection tank of STP due to non occupation/non operation of the hotel.
4. The hotel has installed D.G. sets (02 nos.) having capacity of 250 KVA & 320 KVA which are fitted with canopies.
The hotel has submitted a water analysis report dated 9/12/2016 issued by M/s SIMA Lab, New Delhi which is an authorized lab of the Board and the analyzed parameters are within limits as prescribed by the Board. The hotel has submitted an undertaking which describes that the hotel has no star rating and deposition of consent fee for the period of one year.
May if approved & in view of above, the case may be send to Zonal Office with recommendation that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended for the period up to 30/9/2017.
