The case submitted is under Air act 1981 ,whereas the history printed as above more relates to Water Act 1974, stating that a show cause notice for revoking of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 was issued with an opportunity of personal hearing before Chairman of the Board on 27/4/2017 , which was further postponed to 4/5/2017,and wherein it was decided that the Environmental Engineer ,Regional Office shall personally visit the project, verify the submissions made by it and shall also collect sample of effluent discharged from the project u/s 21 of Water Act 1974 as amended in 1988. In compliance to the decision of personal hearing the residential project was visited by officers of RO on 31/5/2017 and collected the water sample u/s 21 of Water Act, 1974 and the same were sent to Head Office Lab, Patiala for analysis, the result of which is awaited. However , as there is only DG set , which is source of air pollution and same is fitted with canopy, thus, it proposed that consent be renewed up to 31.3.2018 with usual conditions .
