Sir, Before registering the application online, the representative of the industry visited this office and was asked to give the year wise CA certificate for increase in assets so that the consent fees could be calculated. However the representative of the industry told that since the consent was granted in 2002 valid upto 2017 for a long term as such , it is very difficult to provide the CA certificate since 2002 for increase in assets and it will take a long time. As such, the industry has submitted the Consent fees from 2002 as per the present value of CA certificate in accordance with the fee slabs prevalent during the past years i.e. from 2002 to 2022 after subtracting the fees earlier deposited by the industry . The adequacy was calculated accordingly and the adequacy has been mentioned in the agenda note. Further, the industry was visited twice by this office to collect air emission samples however the industry was not found in operation . As per the representative of the industry, the industry operates only in night hours and that too once or twice a week due to recession.
In view of above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted Consents to operate for a suitable period with special condition that :-
The industry will get air emmission samples analyzed from board's lab within 1 month after submitting the operational schedule in the regional office
