As discussed with your goodself, it is submitted the brick kiln was again visied by undersigned (AEE) on 29.06.2017 and it was observed as under :-
1. The kiln was not in operation and lying closed due to rainy season.
2. NO unauthorized fuel was found stored in the premises and the industry has removed the sludge of soap factory as earlier found during the visit dt. 07.03.2014.
3. The kiln has not provided the safe ladder and platform with the stack.
4. The kiln has stabilized the movement area within the premises with keri.
5. The kiln has not planted the trees along the all sides of its premises.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that the validity of consent granted under Air Act, 1981 may be extended upto 31.12.2017 with same terms & conditions alongwith following special conditions :-
1. The industry will provid the safe ladder and platform with the stack of kiln with one month and submit the compliance of the same in Regional Office, Bathinda.
2. The kiln will provide adequate plantation along its all boundaries.
3. The BKO will obtain Environmental Clearance under EIA notification for mining of brick clay to be used as raw material for the manufacture of bricks and submit the same, within two months.
4. The industry will get its emission sample analyzed from Board's lab, within one month during its re-commissioning for the coming kiln season and submit copy of report to the Board.
