It is intimated that the Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar yet has not submitted the reply of the clarification regarding capacity of the STPs, asked by the board vide letter no 1205 dated 27.02.2017 & 3805 dated 09.05.2017 .The reminder letter as may be issued to the commissioner , Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar through hard copy .
Further, the total built-up area of institute is 38876.65 Sq/m. The total built-up area of the institute is less than 1.50 Lac Sq/m, hence project is not covered under EC . The effluent of the institute is connected with the terminal STP of the city. Hence, as per the policy of the board for the project which are not covered under EC and connected with terminal STPs the indivisual STP is not mandatory. However, as per the hearing given to the institute on 26.08.2016 it was asked to install the STP .
