It is intimated that the industry was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. ZO/JAL/APC/2013/F-1075 dated 02.09.2013 Valid upto 30.06.2018 Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. ZO/JAL/WPC/2013/F-1088 dated 02.09.2013 valid upto 30.06.2018 with conditions mentioned therein. The industry has change the manufacturing process and started pretreatment and passivation for the electric items without obtaining consent of the Board. The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 24.03.2017 and the report was sent to Zonal Office. The industry was given personal hearing before the Chief Environmental Engineer on 16.06.2017 where it was decided as under:-
1) The consent under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be revoked.
2) The industry shall apply for varied consent under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 within 07 days.
3) The Regional Office shall process the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 on merit.
Now the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 online through OCMMS. The industry has Deposited Now the fee deposited Rs. 22500/- R. No.96/4404 dated 15.06.2017 under Air Act and now Rs. 22500/- R. No.97/4404 dated 15.06.2017 and Rs. Rs. 500/- R. No.98/4404 dated 15.06.2017, Rs. 3000 Vide R.No 98/4404 dated 15.06.2017 which is adequate up to 30.06.2022. The industry has submitted application form, approved building plan, partnership deed, site plan, agreement with JBR technology, CA Certificate, Compliance Report of earlier granted consent.
The industry was visited by officer of the Board on 27.06.2017 & observed that
1. The industry was in operation.
2. The industry has installed storage tank of capacity 1000ltr near the processing area for the storage of effluent generated from passivation process.
3. The industry has made agreement with M/s JBR technology @2400ltr/month for lifting trade effluent generated from pretreatment process.
4. The industry has installed water meter at the source of water supply and reading was observed 00038m3 during visit.
5. The industry has started maintaining record for the consumption of water.
6. The industry has 2no. powder coating booth with cyclone as APCD and stack height above roof level provided.
7. The industry has provided canopy on the DG set of capacity 75 KVA.
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2022 with usual term and conditions.
