It is submitted that Regional Office has given reply to the clarification raised by this office on 14.07.2017.
If approved, consents to operate under the Water Act,1974 & Air Act,1981 may be granted to the industry for six months, subject to the suitable conditions alongwith the following specific conditions:-
1. The industry shall not procure and process any waste as prescribed in Schedule-IV appended to the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 till it gets the certificate of registration / passbook as recycler /re-processor from the Board.
2. The industry shall not procure and recycle any waste as prescribed in Schedule-IV appended to the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 till it obtains authorization of the Board as required under said Rules.
3. This consent is valid only to facilitate the industry to get the certificate of registration as recycler /re-processor from the Board as required under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.
4. The industry shall apply for consent as required under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 afresh after obtaining certificate of registration / passbook as recycler /re-processor from the Board.
5. The industry shall not operate its unit till it obtain the permission for operation of the industry.
