The application of the industry has been scrutinized and found that the industry has not submitted the permission under rule 9 i.e. utilization of hazardous waste of other waste of Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 along with its application. Further, the industry has applied under orange category and also using paper sludge as its raw material. The industry is required to re-check its category as per latest categorization of industries. Thus, the application of the industry cannot be processed at this stage and you are requested to attend aforesaid observations within 3 days, so that further action can be taken in the matter. |
