It is submitted that the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 but during processing it was recommended by mistake to grant fresh consent to operate under Water act, 1974 to the industry.
Keeping above in view, it is recommended that the renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2021 and renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted up to 30.09.2018 paddy processing capacity @ 1.5 TPH with usual conditions as per the policy of the Board and additional conditions as under:- 1. The rice sheller shall continue to abide by the new code of practice notified by Govt. Notification no. 10/48/2004-STE (4) /932 dated. 15/10/2013. 2. The industry shall get its stack emission analysis done from Board / Board's approved private lab in the coming season and thereafter industry will submit the analysis report, within 10 days from the date of industry being operational in this office. 3. The industry shall put in place all the hoods, ductings & enclosures and other components of the APCD well before commissioning of the unit for next paddy shelling season and report the compliance in the regard to the Board. 4. This consent has been granted to the industry based on the compliance report of the conditions imposed in the earlier consent, therefore, in case during the visit to the industry in future, the industry is found non-complying with any of the condition of the earlier, action shall be taken to revoke/ cancel this consent without issuance of any further notice/opportunity. |
