Before taking the action as proposed, kindly clarify the followings –
a) The industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for operation of rice sheller unit of capacity 1 TPH of raw rice without dryer, valid upto 30.09.2018. Now, the industry has applied for consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for operation of unit with increased capacity of 2 TPH of raw rice, however nothing has been clarified regarding the additional machinery installed by it so as to increase its capacity in report of visit. Accordingly, no comments have been given regarding the adequacy of APCD installed to contain the emissions of shelling section at increased capacity.
b) Location of industry outside the Nagar Panchayat limits of Mehraj in the report of visit.
