It is intimated that the above said industry was granted consent to operate under air act, 1981 vide R14LDH2CTOA801776 dated 24.02.2014 expired on 30.06.2018.
Now, the BKO has applied for the renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through online system.
The brick kiln has installed gravity chamber as APCD same was approved from PSCS&T. It was also observed that plantation of small plants has been provided along boundary of the brick kiln and the movement area within the premises has been stabilized with Keri of the kiln. It is following code of practice prescribed for brick kilns.
Also, Environment Clearance from the competent Authority for mining of brick earth is not a pre-requisite for obtaining consent to operate vide HO Patiala’s order no. 346 dated 01.08.2016 and as per Board's order no. 467 dated 07.10.2016 the consent to operate under orange category to the brick kiln can be issued for 10 years or the period upto which the consent fee has been deposited.
In view of the above and SEE, HQ, Patiala office order no. 59 dated 02.02.2016 that consent to operate for industry covered under orange category shall be auto renewed within 07 days on basis of the fee deposited and self-attested documents submitted by the industry. It is recommended that consent under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended in 1987 may be granted upto 30.06.2027 with usual conditions.
