It is submitted that the industry vide its undertaking dated has submitted that the industry has laid down the gravel on the common approach road and has stabilized the same with the help of concrete. However, the industry has submitted that due to rainy season it is not possible to lay bitumen carpet on the common approach road and the same will be done immediately after the rainy season. The industry has submitted photograph in this regard, which is attached herewith. Thus, it is clear that the industry is working for compliance of the code of practice as prescribed by the Board. It is therefore recommended that the application may be considered as per following:
1. Directions issued u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be dropped.
2. Consent to operate under both the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30/09/2020 subject to suitable conditions and an additional condition that the industry as well as M/s Super Stone Crusher, Mubarikpur may be directed to get the approach road metalled within one month and submit compliance in this regard to the Board. |
