In view of the clarification given by AEE as above and recommendations of EE, RO, SAS Nagar dated 19/05/2017, if approved, varied 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30/09/2021 subject to suitable conditions and an additional condition that it shall install water meter at the source of water supply and shall maintain record pertaining to the consumption of the water in the industrial plant for various activities.
