The case was received in RO on 18/07/2017 and scrutinizing of same has been completed on 02/08/2017. The industry is a small scale, red category, electroplating unit. The industry was granted CTO under Water Act, 1974 with condition that the industry will submit the DTP within consent to operate period. Now the industry has applied for renewal of same. The application has been applied on help desk. The industry was visited by the AEE on 25.07.2017 and it was observed that the industry was in operation and doing electroplating on job basis. The industry has installed nickel chrome electroplating section and has made agreement with M/s JBR Tech. Ludhiana for disposal of its trade effluent @ 6000 ltr/month. The industry has installed water meter. The industry has provided storage capacity of about 2400 ltr for storage of its trade effluent and about 1200 ltr was stored at site during visit. The industry is maintaining the record of water consumption and trade effluent lifted by M/s JBR. The industry has submitted a DTP certificate vide R.No. 348 dated 03.03.2014 issued to Federation of Jalandhar Industrial And Traders Association which is mentioning that the industry falls in globe colony, Saini colony and DADA colony falls in industrial area. The industry has not uploaded DTP certificate. If apporved SCN for reply within 5 days may be issue to the industry |
