File Note: Kindly per use note page of EE & AEE of Regional Office, FGS. The site of the industry falls in Amloh Block of FGS, which is a notified area as per CGWA guidelines. In view of the recommendations of EE, RO, FGS, if approved, NOC may be granted to the industry for installation of additional induction furnace (standby) of capacity 250 kg/heat in its existing premises without any change in its production capacity with general conditions (auto generated) and following special conditions: 1. This NOC is valid for installation of one no. additional induction furnace of capacity 250 Kg/heat in its existing premises without any change in its production capacity. 2. The industry shall comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & control of pollution) Act, 1974 and of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. 3. The adequacy and efficacy of the Air Pollution Control Devices will be the entire responsibility of the industry. 4. The industry will maintain and operate its APCD regularly and efficiently so as to achieve the air emission standards consistently. 5. The industry will not use any fuel except HSD in its D.G. set without the prior written permission of the Board. 6. The industry shall not operate its DG set (of unknown capacity, which is lying in the premises of the industry in abandoned condition) without providing acoustic enclosure and adequate stack. 7. The industry will apply for obtaining authorization under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, within one month. 8. The industry shall not install any additional borewell for abstraction of Ground Water, within its premises. 9. The industry shall obtain permission from District Advisory Committee for the abstraction of ground water from its existing borewell as per Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) guidelines and the Punjab Pollution Control Board will not be responsible for any loss incurred to the promoter due to non-grant of NOC/permission from District Advisory Committee/CGWA. 10. The industry will recirculate its entire cooling / scrubbing water. 11. The industry will obtain other necessary permissions from the relevant departments, if any. (Small Scale, Competency- SEE)
