As per the Environmental Clearance conditions, total waste water generation from the project will be 5217 KLD, out of which 1875 KLD will be used for flushing, 1326 KLD will be used for road maintenance and arboliculture, 1830 KLD for irrigation for organized green area and 186 KLD for makeup water for lake. Presently, the project proponent has provided STP for the capacity of 100 KLD. Due to less occupancy, effluent is treated in septic tanks only. Only 18000 Sq. meter (4.4478969 acre) has been developed for plantation which is very small as compared to total expected effluent. Also, the reporting of Regional Office that the project proponent is complying with the conditions of EC is vague as the same has not been forwarded in annotated form and even at this stage of project, it is not possible that the project will be complying with all the conditions. In view of above, Regional Office recommendations for grant of short term consent upto 31-03-2018 may be accepted with condition as proposed that the project proponent will obtain the extension of NOC which was expired on 31-03-2017.
