I was on leave on 18-10-2017 and there were public holiday from 19-10-2017 to 22-10-2017......................... From the perusal of the C.A. certificate, it is clear that fee slab has been changed and crossed the 50 Lac mark already on 31-03-2015. It has been increased the slab of 75 Lacs in between 31-03-2016 to 31-03-2017. The regional Office has not clarified as to whether any additional fees is required due to change of fee slab during these years. Moreover, a written clarification from DTP is required w.r.t the discussion held with RO that light, medium and service zone are now converted to the industrial zones or alternatively a certificate for allowing the expansion of unit in the present zone is to be submitted by the industry. The solar evaporation pond are being discourage by the Board for such units. As such, the industry is required to provide some alternative measure like forced evaporation or other treatment arrangements.
In view of above, the consents may be extended for shorter period upto 30-06-2018 with following special conditions:-
1) The industry to submit a clear cut certificate from DTP to the effect that the expansion made by the industry can be regularized at the present site (light and service industrial zone).
2) The industry to provide an alternative and a better environmentally sound treatment and disposal arrangement in place of solar evaporation. this may be a conventional treatment system followed by disposal onto land for plantation or forced evaporation system or re-use of treated effluents.
3) Meanwhile, Regional Office to give a clear cut recommendations regarding the adequacy of consent fee based upon the year wise certificate received now which clearly suggest that the fixed assets has been crossed twice during last 3 years vis-a-vis fee slab of 50 Lac and then 75 lacs. Submitted for approval please. |
