I was on leave on 18-10-2017 and there were public holiday from 19-10-2017 to 22-10-2017......................... It is intimated that this industry had earlier obtained NOC under the name and style of M/s Sparsh Creations on 12-10-2015..................... Later on, it had applied for consents under the new name and style of M/s Fashion Fast in October, 2016. As the industry had not obtained the CGWA permission and not obtained registration from the Deptt. of Industries under new name and style, a hearing was given before SEE, ZO-2, Ludhiana on 09-11-2016 and it was decided to grant short term consent for six months to the industry with following conditions:-
1. The industry shall get registration from GM, DIC under new name and style i.e M/s Fashion Fast, Geeta Colony, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana before its case is considered for further renewal.
2. The industry shall obtain the permission for abstraction of ground water from the Central Ground Water Authority as and when asked to do so under the provisions laid down by the said department..........................
Thereafter, the industry has applied for renewal of consent and was issued show cause notice with hearing before SEE, ZO-2, Ludhiana on 24-08-2017 for not obtaining CGWA permission and for not submitting the sample analysis results of wood fired baby boiler. After hearing the officers of the Board and the representative of the industry, the Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office-II, Ludhiana decided as under:-
1) The industry will submit the copy of application submitted with the Central Ground Water Authority, within 7 days positively.
2) Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-3, Ludhiana to intimate the further status in the matter and give further recommendations to decide the consent case.....................................
Now, Regional Office has informed that the industry has submitted the copy of application with the CGWA and recommended for grant of consent upto 30-06-2022..................... From the perusal of the application, it is observed that the industry has applied under category of non-notified area with date of commissioning as 19-05-2004. Whereas as per the consent application, the date of commissioning is October, 2016.................... Submitted for further decision with regard to consent application in light of the above ambiguity please.
