The industry was issued show cause notice for refusal of consents to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide Zonal Office letter no. 2933 dt. 13.10.2017, as the industry was found discharging its effluent @ 50 lts/day generated from the laboratory section into PSIEC sewer without any treatment, however the industry has not submitted any reply in the matter and has neither installed any solar evaporation tanks for the laboratory effluent.
In view of above, if approved the application of the industry may be refused. |
