I have gone through the record file of the industry and it has been noticed that the unit was visited by you on 26.06.2017 and in the visit report it was mentioned that:
1. The industry carries out fluxing process and no APCD was installed to control the emissions being generated from this process.
2. No hood was provided on buffing process for which bag filter house was provided as APCD.
3. No APCD was provided to control the emissions for brazing process.
4. Very poor housekeeping was noticed in the premises of the unit.
5. No environmental display board was provided outside the premises of the unit at its main gate.
However, nothing has been mentioned about the compliance of above observations in the agenda note. Furthermore, it is not clear from the agenda note as to which acid is used for carrying out picking process. Also, it has not been mentioned after how much time the sulphuric acid becomes spent and afterthat how the same is handled and disposed of. Please mention the reply of these queries for taking further action in the matter. |
