The industry was granted Consent to Establish (NOC) for establishment of a rice sheller unit of capacity 2 TPH for the production of raw rice/sorted rice with dryer vide no. R15BTICTE4436282 dt. 16.08.2016 under orange category with validity upto 15.08.2017.
Now, the unit has applied for extension in the validity of Consent to establish (NOC) under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for operation rice sheller unit of capacity 2 TPH for the production of raw rice/sorted rice with dryer under orange category as per prevailing policy of the Board alongwith request letter by proprietor of the unit for further extension in the validity of CTE due to non availability of machinery.as the unit was in process of completing the cold storage unit.
The industry has deposited NOC extension fee i.e. 50% of the total NOC fee at the time of obtaining CTE for the first time as Rs. 4500 /- vide R.No 80/4454 for the project cost of Rs. 145 Lacs, which is adequate for more than one year i.e. upto 30.11.2018.
The site of rice sheller unit was visited by undersigned on 22.11.2017 and it was observed as under:-
• The site is located in the revenue estate of Village Gurusar Sehnewala along a link road connecting Bathinda-Dabwali/NH with village Gehri Bhagi and is surrounded by mainly rice sheller units.
• The industry has constructed boundary wall around the site.
As the site of the industry is suitable for establishment of rice sheller unit, in view of the above, it is recommended that Consent to Establish (NOC) may be extended to the industry for establishment of rice sheller unit for one year, subject to the suitable conditions please. |
