It is intimated that the hospital has applied for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS along with requisite documents. The hospital has deposited Rs. 10000/- vide receipt No. 97/4669 dated 26.10.2017 under Air Act, Rs. 10000/- vide receipt No. 98/4669 dated 26.10.2017 under Water Act & Rs. 500/- vide receipt No. 99/4669 dated 26.10.2017 as an application form fee.
It is intimated that the hospital was visited by AEE along with JEE of this office on 04.12.2017 and observed that the hospital was in operation. The hospital has 50 bedded capacity. The HCE has provided needle destroyer & 10% sodium hypo-chlorite solution in its premises. The hospital discharged the effluent after pre-treatment into M.C. Sewer. The hospital has provided colour coded buckets to collect segregated bio medical waste as per BMW Rules, 2016. The hospital has provide DG Set of capacity 82.5 KVA which is with canopy.
In view of above, It is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the hospital for the period upto 31.03.2021 with usual terms and conditions.
