Previously industry is operated in the name of M/s Jai Bharat Alloys Pvt. Ltd., for manufacturing of steel ingots 54 TPD with 1 no. induction furnace of capacity of 4.5 TPH and obtained Consent to Operate upto 31.03.2015. After that the industry closed its operation and premises taken by bank and this office has issued letter to PSPCL not to release any electric connection to the premises without obtaining NOC/Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 of the Board. Now industry taken by M/s Shree Ganpati Body Builders from bank and wants to start the operation i.e. manufacturing of same products of same capacity with same induction furnace of capacity 4.5 TPH. The industry has installed water scrubber as APCD. EE RO reported that during visit on 17.11.2017 industry was not in operation due to maintenance work in progress. Moreover electric connection was also not released. EE RO reported that industry has submitted approved building plan from Director of Punjab. Domestic effluent discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank and DG set equipped with canopy. Emission analysed by Board on 06.01.2012. Considering the report submitted by RO.
May if approved Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 7 Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2022 and EE RO directed to collected the emission sample within one month immediately and PSPCL requested to release the electric connection to the industry. |
