It is intimated that the industry is a small scale Red category and electroplating unit. (File no 3262).The registration detail were checked and found correct. The documents uploaded by the industry were verified and found correct.
The industry has applied freshly for consent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981.The industry is in operation from 1.6.2017 as per rent deed. The industry has deposited Rs. 10800/- R No 91/4922 dated 05.12.2017 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 10800/- R No 92/4922 dated 05.12.2017 Air Act, 1981 and Rs. 1800/- R No 93/4922 dated 05.12.2017 under NOC regularization fees, which is adequate upto 1.6.2023.
The industry was visited by the Er Satyajeet Singh Attri on 12.12.2017 and it was observed that the industry was in operation. The industry has installed general machinery like grinders, lathe, drill etc. The industry has also installed electroplating section. The industry has made agreement with M/S JBR Tech. Ludhiana for disposal of its trade effluent @ 2000 ltr/month. The industry has installed water meter on pipeline leading to process area whose reading during visit was 3.25 kl. The industry has provided storage capacity of about 2000 ltr for storage of its trade effluent. About 1200 ltr was stored at site during visit. The industry is maintaining the record of water consumption and trade effluent lifted by M/s JBR from November as the machinery is commissioned in November as per representative of the industry. The industry has lifted 2000 ltr of trade effluent to M/s JBR Ludhiana vide receipt no 45206 dated 17.11.2017. The industry falls in Approved Industrial area. The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved from Director of Factories, Punjab.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.6.2022 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
