It is submitted that the unit was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. O15SASCTOW2133130 dated 14.01.2015 having validity upto 30/09/2017 and under Air Act, 1981 vide no. O15SASCTOA2133119 dated 14.01.2015 having validity upto 30/09/2017, both the consents were granted under the orange category subject to conditions mentioned therein.
The unit has now applied for renewal of consents to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 &the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with requisite documents under the green category w.r.t recategorization as short blasting in now covered under green category. Further the unit is of medium scale.
In view of above, may if approved renewal of consent to operate may be extended under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 31.12.2025 subject to suitable conditions and following additional condition:
"This consent is granted on the basis of undertaking submitted by the industry, in compliance to policy of the Board circulated vide letter dated 02/02/2016, to the effect that it is complying with the code of practice laid down by the Govt. vide order dated 17/03/1998 as amended on 01/02/2006 and if any part or the entire contents of the said undertaking are found incorrect after the subsequent visit to the industry ,then, action shall be initiated against the industry under as per the provisions of the Act, without affording any opportunity or notice."
