It is submitted that the industry has made adequate provisions for the 100% recirculation of process water and same was verified during last visit. It is therefore recommended that the consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 30.09.2022 in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016. 2. Directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be issued to PSPCL authorities for restoration of electric connection of the industry.
In view of above, it is recommended that:-
1. Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016.
2. Directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be issued to PSPCL authorities for restoration of electric connection of the industry. |
