The details of the case are given in the note of AEE, which may kindly be perused. In light of the facts mentioned in the said note, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed up to 30/09/2018 subject to suitable condition and additional condition that the industry shall submit certificate from GMADA as to whether the provisions of section 79 of the Punjab Regional & Town Planning & Development Act, 1995 are applicable to this industry or not. If applicable, as to how much time the industry can continue its operation at this site. |
