It is intimated that the hospital has applied for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The hospital has submitted agreement with CBWTF, Bed Certificate, site plan. The hospital has deposited cheque of Rs. 6000/- vide receipt No. 60/4469 dated 08.01.2018 under Air Act, Rs. 6000/- No. 59/4469 dated 08.01.2018 under Water Act and Rs. 500/- No. 48/4469 dated 08.01.2018 as an application fee.
The hospital was visted by AEE of this office on 10.01.2018 and observed that the bed capacity of the hospital is 10. The hospital has provided colour coded bins for the segregation of bio medical waste and has stored the waste as Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016. The hospital has provided sodium hypochlorite solution of strength 10% at lab & operation theatre for the pre-treatment of liquid waste. The treated effluent is discharged into M.C. Sewer. The hospital has also installed one DG set of capacity 45 KVA, which is with canopy and adequate stack height.
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may granted to the hospital for the period upto 31.03.2022.
