The details of the case are given in the note of AEE, which may kindly be perused. In light of the facts mentioned in the said note, it is recommended that the 'consent to operate' may be issued to the industry to not to operate the unit for one year subject to following conditions:
1. The industry shall obtained actual user certificate under Rule 9 of the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016 before commissioning the industry.
2. The industry shall obtain passbook under Rule-6 of the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016. 2. The industry had to submit site emergency plan approved by the Chief Inspector of Factories, Punjab as applicable.
3. The industry has not planted minimum of three rows of trees at the density of not less than 1000 trees per acre along the boundary of the industrial premises. |
