The marriage palace has a capacity of 400-500 persons & is in operation since Nov. 2008. EE, RO reported that the marriage palace has provided oil & grease trap for kitchen waste water & installed STP for treatment of domestic effluent. Treated effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation in an area of 1 acre. The marriage palace has provided submersible pump & area does not falls under notified area decided by CGWA. The marriage palace has submitted effluent sample analysis report collected by Board’s approved lab on 30.11.2017 from outlet of STP and as per analysis report the various parameters are within the limits prescribed by the Board for such discharges. The industry has submitted copy of CLU issued by STP, Ludhiana vide no. 829 dated 15.2.2017. As per which the site falls in Agriculture Zone as per notified Master Plan Samrala (2012-31). The permission for Change of Land Use is granted as per Govt instructions issued vide letter no. 18/30/2009-5hg2/3577 dt 22.12.2010 and as per policy of Regularization of Existing Marriage Palaces issued vide letter no. 12/8/2012-5HgII/5094 dated 16.11.2012 and notification no. 12/8/2012-5HgII/820005/I dated 16.8.2016. The marriage palace has submitted an undertaking that the food wastage is lifted by Piggery owners and disposable wastage is not generated as crockery is used. The marriage palace has installed 1 D.G set of 250 KVA capacities with adequate stack height and fitted with canopy. The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved by Director of Factories, Pb. Considering the report submitted by RO, May if approved, Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be granted to the marriage palace upto 30.9.2022 with special condition that the project proponent shall obtain permission from CGWA. |
