The industry was issued show cause notice vide letter no. 378 dated 17/1/2018 with an opportunity of personal hearing at ZO level on 29/1/2018. The hearing was attended by EE (ZP-I) and Sh. Dharam Singh, Manager of the industry. He submitted reply of show cause notice issued to the industry and the same was taken on record. The copy of the same is uploaded herewith for kind perusal. He stated that presently, the industry is not using effluent treatment plant as only packaged drinking water is manufactured and RO reject is having TDS well below 2100 mg/l. He further stated that other incompletions pointed out by the Board have been removed and also applied to CGWA for obtaining permission for abstraction of ground water. He requested for grant of consents.
After hearing the officer of the Board and representative of the industry, it was decided that the industry be granted 'consents to operate' under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 upto 30/9/2018 with suitable conditions and EE, RO, SAS Nagar shall visit the industry to verify the submissions made by representative of the industry and submit report / recommendations, if any violations are observed.
