As explained in the agenda note, it is recommended that : 1. To issue directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for permanent de-sealing of plant and machinery of the industry. 2. This office may be allowed to grant Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 upto 31/12/2027 for the process of steam press of clothes @ 5500 meter/day under Green category as the competency lies within the Regional Office. |
