The project proponent was issued show cause notice before refusal of NOC vide letter no. 649 dated 2/2/2018 with an opportunity of personal hearing before Worthy Chairman of the Board on 15/2/2018. The proceedings of the hearing as approved on hard file are uploaded herewith for kind perusal.
After hearing, it was decided that
i) The project proponent will apply for consents to operate within 10 days.
ii) The project proponent will ensure that urinals in alteast in 2 bathrooms of apartments are provided to reduce the consumption of fresh water.
iii) The project proponent will also ensure that the residents will provide aquagaurds instead of RO system to reduce the consumption of fresh water as per study, RO water is harmful because TDS in the fresh water varied from 400 to 500 in Mohali area.
iv) RO will verify the statement of the project proponent within 15 days and submit the report.
v) The validity of NOC be extended.
Therefore, the file is submitted for online approval for grant of NOC to the project proponent upto adequacy of NOC fee deposited by the project proponent please. |
