It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. ZO/SGR/WPC/2004-11/F-22 dated 12/07/2004 & under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. ZO/SGR/APC/2004-11/F-29 dated 12/07/2004 both valid upto 31/12/2017 for manufacturing of Pesticide, Fungicides, Growth regulator, Zinc EDTA 12%, Manganese Sulphate 30.5 %, Ferrous Sulphate 19 %, Mircronutrient Gr-I, Gr-II & Gr-III, weedicides @ 5 MTD by using Seeweed @ 20 kgs/day, Amino Acid @ 45 kgs/day, Black Granuale @ 500 kgs/Day, Emulsifier @ 25 kgs/day, Zinc Sulphate @ 500 kgs/ day, Manganese Sulphate @ 400/ kgs/day, Mg (Carrier) @ 150 kgs/day, Ferrous Sulphate @ 600 Kgs/day and Water @ 1600 liter/day as raw material subject to certain conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has submitted application for renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981. The industry has submitted an under taking stating that increase in value of plant & machinery is due to installation of Batch Coding Machine for batch print on finished products and has deposited Rs. 1200/- vide no. 14/4963 dated 07/03/2018 as NOC regularization fee corresponding to increase in fixed assets.
The industry was visited by AEE of this office alognwith ASO on 08/03/2018 and found in operation. The stack emission sampling of the APCD installed with the mixer tank was collected and send to HO Lab for analysis. The results are yet awaited. The representative of the industry submitted that they are engaged in the manufacturing of growth regulators only and no fungicide, weedicide & insecticide is being manufactured. The industry is not generating any trade effluent and only domestic effluent is generated/discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank. The industry has provided one no. D.G set of capacity 30 KVA equipped with canopy and adequate stack height. The industry is complying with the conditions imposed in the consents granted to it under both the Acts.
In view of the above, it is therefore recommended that the validity of consent to operate granted to the industry under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be extended upto 30/09/2023 for manufacturing of Pesticide, Fungicides, Growth regulator, Zinc EDTA 12%, Manganese Sulphate 30.5 %, Ferrous Sulphate 19 %, Mircronutrient Gr-I, Gr-II & Gr-III, weedicides @ 5 MTD by using Seeweed @ 20 kgs/day, Amino Acid @ 45 kgs/day, Black Granuale @ 500 kgs/Day, Emulsifier @ 25 kgs/day, Zinc Sulphate @ 500 kgs/ day, Manganese Sulphate @ 400/ kgs/day, Mg (Carrier) @ 150 kgs/day, Ferrous Sulphate @ 600 Kgs/day and Water @ 1600 liter/day as raw material with usual condition.
