It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to operate vide no. ZO-II/SGR/WPC/2013/203/F-550 dated 27/02/2013 and vide no. ZO-II/SGR/APC/2013/192/F-443 dated 27/02/2013, both valid up to 26/08/2013 and further extended upto 31/03/2018 for the manufacturing of Bottling of liquor @ 4 lac cases/annum by using Ethyl Alcohol @ 5 TPD & Flavor and Essence @ 5 Kg/day, with certain conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS.
The industry was visited by EE and undersigned on 07/03/2018 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation.
2. The industry has installed ETP consisting of effluent collection cum clarification tank, Aeration tank, Secondary Clarifier and Treated Waste Water tank.
3. The ETP installed by the industry was also in operation. However, there was no discharge, therefore, effluent samples could not be collected during visit.
4. The industry has submitted analysis report of the trade effluent sample collected / analyzed by Industrial Testing Laboratory & Consulting House, Patiala as per analysis report, the concentration of various parameters was found within limits prescribed by the Board.
5. The industry has provided one no. DG set of capacity 125 KVA equipped with canopy and adequate stack height.
6. The industry is complying with the conditions of consents granted under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1974.
Keeping in the view of above, it is therefore, recommended that the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1974 may be granted upto 31/03/2023 with suitable conditions and special condition that the industry shall got its trade effluent analysis from the Board’s laboratory and shall submit the analysis results to the Board, within two months.
