The industry was granted CTO under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 with validity up to 31.03.2018 & obtained NOC for installation of non-polluting machinery with the same product. Now EE, RO process the consent application under Water/Air Act & reported that the industry has installed own turbine of capacity @ 6 megabyte along with boiler @ 42 TPH in which rice husk/coal is being used as fuel but presently the industry is not operating its turbine and boiler @ 42 TPH because power from PSPCL is cheaper. The industry has taken 3 no. boilers on lease from its sister concern i.e. M/s Malwa Processing house, which is lying closed, the capacity of boiler @ 10 TPH (2 no.) & 7 TPH is (1 no). All boilers equipped with trima cyclone fallowed by wet scrubber along with separate stack height, 1 boiler @ 10 TPH is analyzed by the Board on 23.02.2018 as per the analysis report results are within limit. The industry has installed ETP and effluent sample analyzed by the Board on 23.02.2018 and results are within limit. The industry has made an arrangement for disposal of treated effluent onto land for plantation in an area of 70 acres & is also discharging its treated effluent in nearby fields approx. 350 Acres for irrigation through permanent piping & valve system for utilization during non-rainy season. EE, RO reported that the industry is complying with conditions of previous consent but not provided canopies on D.G. Sets. Considering the report submitted by RO, May if approved, CTO under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry up to 31.03.2019 with special condition that the industry shall not operate the D.G. Sets till it equipped with canopy. |
