Discussed on 26/03/2018, it is submitted that as per latest categorization of the industries carried out by the Board vide no. SEE(HQ-2)/F-10(Vol.II)/458 dated 29 Sept 2016, the industry falls under green category at Sr. no. 3054 "Mineralized Water" and Sr. No. 3032 "Polythene and plastic processed products manufacturing (virgin plastic)". As per policy of the Board dated 30/04/2013, the competency to decide the small scale green category industry/ project proponent lies with Environmental Engineer, Regional Office. It is therefore, recommended that Consent to establish (NOC) for setting up a unit to manufacture Packaged/drinking/Mineral water @ 14400 KL/year by using Raw water @ 20571 KL/year and Pet Preform @ 2100 no./day, as raw material at C-40, Industrial Focal Point, Sangrur may be granted to the industry with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and with following special conditions :
1. The project proponent shall not install any new submersible pump/tubewell/energized source for abstraction of ground water in its premises without permission of the CGWA.
2. The project proponent shall obtain permission for abstraction of ground water as per guidelines issued by the Central Ground Water Authority.
