The marriage palace has applied for consent under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. EE, RO reported that the marriage palace has provided oil & grease trap for kitchen waste water. The marriage palace has installed STP for treatment of kitchen and domestic waste and treated effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation. The marriage palace has provided submersible pump. The marriage palace has submitted effluent sample analysis report collected by Board’s approved lab on 8.1.2018 from outlet of STP and as per analysis report the various parameters are within the limits prescribed by the Board for such discharges. The industry has submitted copy of CLU issued by Senior Town Planner, Ludhiana vide no. 686 dated 13.2.2017. As per which the site falls in Partial Mix Land use along Road front (Upto 200 m) and Partial agriculture zone as per Master Plan (2010-2031). The permission for Change of Land Use is granted as per Govt instructions issued vide letter no. 18/30/2009-5hg2/3577 dt 22.12.2010 and as per policy of Regularization of Existing Marriage Palaces issued vide letter no. 12/8/2012- 5HgII/5094 dated 16.11.2012 and notification no. 12/8/2012-5HgII/820005/I dated 16.8.2016. The marriage palace has installed 2 D.G sets of 250 KVA and 125 KVA capacities with adequate stack height and fitted with canopy. Considering the report submitted by RO, May if approved, consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be granted to the marriage palace upto 30.9.2022 |
