As per record the industry M/s Victor Drop Forging C-40 Focal Point, Jalandhar the industry was issued show cause notice with hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer on 21.11.2016 and decided as under:- 1. The industry shall submit bank guarantee of Rs. 1.0 lacs within 3 days with the validity of one year as an assurance to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. 2. The industry shall submit an affidavit for not operating the electroplating plant without prior permission of the Board. 3. The Regional Office, Jalandhar shall seal the machinery of electroplating plant and report within 7 days. 4. The Regional Office Jalandhar shall verify the contentions made by the industry regarding seals of the DG set intact. 5. The industry shall apply for consent to operate of the Board under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. 6. The Regional Office shall process the consent application on merit. The representative of M/s Victor Drop Forging C-40 Focal Point, Jalandhar was informed vide no. 699 dated 06.02.2017 we had shut down our production and closed our industry and now M/s Sanit (India) C-40 Focal Point, Jalandhar is operate on same site. The industry has applied by namely M/s Sanit (India) C-40 Focal Point, Jalandhar for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry was visited by the AEE on 12.03.2018 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in the manufacturing of bath fitting. The industry has installed nickle plant. The industry has installed 1 no. collection tank of 5000 ltr capacity. The industry has made agreement with the M/s JBR technology for lifting trade effluent @ 7500 ltr/month. During visit water meter reading was noted as 00030. The industry is maintaining record of water consumption in process as water effluent lifting by JBR Technology During the visit the industry has stored approx. 1500 ltr trade effluent in the tank. The domestic effluent is discharged into sewer. The industry has installed 1 no. pit furnace with adequate stack height. The industry has installed grinding machine with dust collector with cyclone. The industry has installed 1 no. D.G set of 125 KVA with canopy. The industry has deposited consent fee adequate upto 30.06.2023. The industry has submitted approved building plan. The industry has submitted electricity bill as per proof of date of commissioning. The industry is small scale red category RO recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 may be granted upto 30.06.2023 with usual conditions. It is submitted that RO has not submitted the compliance of proceeding of hearing dtd.21.11.16. regarding sealing of electroplating and submission of BG as noted above .If approved .RO may be asked for above pl. |
