The industry is medium scale orange cat. unit and obtained CTO under Water/Air Act up to 31.03.2021 for manufacturing of wire rod and steel round @ 100 MTD with one no. rolling mill. Now EE, RO process the varied consent application under Water/Air Act for manufacturing of wire rod and steel round @ 150 MTD and aluminium casting @ 8 MTD. The industry has already obtained environment clearance for aluminium casting @ 40 MTD on 14.06.2016. Now EE, RO reported that emission sample collected by RO on 04.01.2018, 30.01.2018 & 08.03.2018 and results are within limit. The industry has installed cyclone followed by wet scrubber as APCD on rolling mill and bag house as APCD on aluminium melting furnace. The industry has installed generator set with canopy. There is no source of T.E. and D.E. discharge onto land for plantation after septic tank. The industry has deposited bank guarantee Rs. 1.0 lac as per the decisions o hearing dated 19.12.2017 to achieve the emission standards. EE, RO reported that the industry is complying with conditions of previous consents granted to it. Considering the report submitted by RO, May if approved, CTO under Water Act, 1074 & Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry up to 31.03.2021 and bank guarantee submitted by the industry also be returned. |
