File No. RO-II/LDH/CON/IND/2254: Recommendations:- The industry has applied for fresh ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith documents under green category. Accordingly, the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 28.03.2018 and observed that:-
1. The industry was in operation and engaged in manufacturing of hand tool components.
2. The industry has installed presses of different capacities
3. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 125 KVA, with canopy in its premises.
4. There is no generation of trade effluent from the process and domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.
5. The industry has submitted building plan & stability certificate from Additional Directors of Factories, Punjab.
6. The industry has submitted the CLU issued by STP, Ludhiana vide no. 834 dated 10.03.2016 stating that the site falls in Industrial land use zone as per Master Plan, Ludhiana (2007-2031).
7. The industry has installed submersible pump in its premises and also applied for the NOC/approval from Central Ground Water Authority for submersible pump.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2020 with usual conditions.
