It is intimated that the industry hast submitted reply of SCN issued to it on 24.3.18 and accordingly the industry was visited by u/s on 29.03.2018 and observed that the STP was in operation during visit and the industry has installed water meter at final outlet of STP with reading as 340 KL. The plantation area developed for utilization of treated effluent has not been maintained properly as per Karnal Technology as it is still full of bushes/wild grass. The industry has submitted building plans approved by Director of Factories, Punjab vide letter no 5972 dated 12.06.17.
It is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act,1974 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2021 with suitable conditions and special condition that the industry shall develop plantation area properly as per Karnal Technology for discharge of its treated effluent after treatment through STP. |
