It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide No. RO-HSP/GUR/CUPOLA/APC/2013/R-02 dated 19/02/2013, which had expired on 17/04/2016. Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The Project proprietor has deposited Rs. 7200/- vide DD. No. 669460 dated 24/03/2018 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 31/03/2024. The industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 13.04.2018 and observed as under:-
1. The proposed site was shown by Sh. Dalbir Singh, Partner.
2. The industry has installed a cupola furnace with wet cap as an APCD.
3. The industry has constructed a re-circulation tank with pump motor fitted over it.
4. The industry has erected a pipe network for the re-circulation of the scrubbed water.
5. There is no source of trade effluent.
It is pertinent to mention here that the industry is complying with the conditions of consent to operate granted earlier under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30/09/2022 with with special condition that the industry shall obtain necessary statutory permissions / clearances from all other concerned departments if any.
