It is intimated that the subject cited industry was granted Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 which had been expired on 31.03.2018. The consent was granted for the manufacturing of Indian Made Foreign Liquor @3000 cases/day.
Now, the industry has submitted an online application for the renewal of Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the manufacturing of Indian Made Foreign Liquor @ 3000 cases/day along with the requisite documents and consent fee of Rs 45000/- under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Rs 45000/- under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 which is adequate up to 30.06.2022. The industry has submitted following documents alongwith application form.
1) Compliance report of the previous consents granted.
2) CA certificate mentioning the cost of its assets.
3) Completion certificate of 20 KLD effluent and sewage treatment plant.
4) Declaration/ undertaking pertaining to operation and maintenance of record of ETP and compliance of the conditions of Consent to Operate earlier granted to the industry.
5) Undertaking to the effect that the unit could not come into operation due to certain documentation due from Department of Excise and Taxation, Punjab.
Further, as per the officer order no. 59 dated 02.02.2016 the applications of the industry seeking renewal of consent to operate/ NOC shall be processed on the basis of self certified documents and consent fee deposited by the industry within 07 days.
The industry is covered under the orange category and has applied for obtaining renewal of Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. Therefore, in view of facts mentioned above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 30.09.2021 subject to the same conditions as mentioned therein. |
